ANDREW J RAMEAS MEMORIAL FUND

andrewrameaslogo (1).png

Andrew J Rameas was a police officer from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania whose life was tragically taken in the line of duty in Killeen, Texas. In his spare time, Andrew enjoyed taking his dog, Cuffs, to spend time with children who have been diagnosed with autism. In memory of our team member, we have established a fund in his name to continue his legacy of service.

Today, we continue to work and raise money to provide service animals to those who need them most, including veterans with PTSD, police departments and individuals with special needs. We believe that these animals make a significant positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

At WPSARDC, we know the benefits of Search and Rescue dogs and we want to provide support and services to those who need it most, including Police Departments, families living with a loved one with special needs, and agencies that deal with veterans with PTSD. We offer grants for the purchase, training, or medical costs of a service animal, providing them with the support and care they require to live their best possible life. Our goal is simple: to improve the quality of life of those we serve, one grant at a time.

Please fill out our simple online application form to get started. Our team is committed to making sure that everyone who needs a service animal has access to one, and we look forward to working with you.
