REDEFINING SEARCH AND RESCUE
Western Pennsylvania Search and Rescue Development Center is dedicated to serving the at-risk and vulnerable population. Founded in 2000, we have become the only Search and Rescue organization in the country that solely serves those populations.
We are a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and our knowledge of the needs of at-risk individuals allows us to provide the best support possible. We are dedicated to providing quality services and we strive to ensure that every person is given the chance to be safe and secure.
At Calli Outreach center, we understand the importance of helping those in need. That's why we, along with our partners, are committed to providing solutions for individuals, families, and communities. Our goal is to empower our communities by ensuring that everyone has access to food, shelter and other basic support. With our dedicated team and caring partners, we work tirelessly to provide assistance to those who need it most.
Operation: Take Me Home is an innovative safety program created in 2004 to provide assistance to individuals that wandered or eloped. In 2020, the program expanded to include more extensive services due to the pandemic. We saw the vulnerable population in our communities falling through society's cracks.
At Western PA Search and Rescue Development Center, we are committed to providing support and resources to victims and survivors of human trafficking in Pennsylvania. We have worked with a variety of organizations and individuals to create a safe and supportive network that provides assistance to victims and survivors in the form of advocacy, case management, counseling, and legal services. Our team of dedicated professionals are here to provide you with the resources and support you need.
The simple act of donating cell phones and other electronic devices that are no longer being used or that have been left behind in lost-and-found shows the world that simple acts of charity can alleviate the effects of domestic violence, human trafficking, and elder abuse.
The "PHONE IT FORWARD" campaign was created by the 911 Cell Phone Bank (911CPB) (501c3) as a charitable event that allows individuals, businesses, and organizations the opportunity to 'pay it forward' by donating unused electronic devices to help victims in their community.
Radio Direction Finding is an essential service for caregivers who need to locate individuals that wander or elope. Our non-profit organization provides this service to help bring peace of mind to families and ensure the safety of those who are prone to this behavior. This technology is not GPS-based, and it has been proven to be a reliable method for locating individuals who may be disoriented or lost. Contact us today to learn more about our Radio Direction Finding service and how we can help you.
Our organization is committed to providing the best emergency response services to our community. Our approach utilizes the latest search and rescue technology, including search and rescue dogs, drones, sonar technology, and emergency communications. We also provide a Community Emergency Response Team, trained in first aid, search and rescue, and emergency preparedness. With this cutting-edge technology and experienced personnel, we are dedicated to keeping our community safe and prepared for any kind of emergency.
